Description
Beetle Magic by Katie Green was inspired by our magically-marled Chimera yarn!
Beetle Magic is knitted seamlessly from the top down with short row shaping at the back to ensure a comfortable fit. The body is knitted straight from underarm to hem, without waist shaping. The length of the body and sleeves can be adjusted to your preference by trying on the garment as you work. Please note that if you wish to add length, more yarn will be required.
Yarn
3-16 skeins of Severn 4 Ply (50g) for Yarn A (dependent on size)
1-2 skeins of Chimera (50g) for Yarn B (dependent on size)
Sizes
Refer to the charts that show the finished measurements of the actual jumper. Beetle Magic is designed to be worn with some positive ease, so choose a size which is 2-6 inches / 5-15 cm more than your largest circumference (chest or hips).
Sizes A – F are children’s sizes and feature one row of beetle motifs.
Sizes G – P are adult sizes and feature two rows of beetle motifs.

Gauge
28 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm measured over Stocking Stitch and Stranded Colourwork, knitted in the round
You Will Need
Needles: 2.75mm or size required to obtain gauge, circular needle with cable length close to chest circumference for the yoke and body, and preferred needles for working small circumferences in the round on the sleeves.
