The Scottish Rainbow Blanket was inspired by the colours of Scotland and designed by Fay Dashper-Hughes. It is made using the intarsia knitting method and it’s all done in garter stitch to make a squidgy, warm blanket. Easy row repeats make it a great first intarsia knitting project.
There is a sister crochet design called Stormy Rainbow, which uses a different colour scheme, so we have added that option here too. We have also chosen some Chimera colours for a super luxe version! That brings the colourway options to 3 in total, and they all work with both the knit and the crochet pattern. The kit comes with the printed pattern and a digital download and an optional 3 skeins of the background colour in our signature Nene 4 Ply.
